Oh how time has passed, all those years ago I joined irsf trade union through to pcs you signed me up, you gave me inspiration to be a rep then committee member, how we marched how we demonstrated how you taught me politics how you educated me in the ways of socialism, how we debated when I joined swp, from pay strikes to Liverpool dockers you were my mentor, you introduced music into my life many a gig we went to, chumbawumba, orbital, all this I shared with you my friend. I know you are on a fantastic adventure now no mountain to high no sea to deep, no distance to far... Don't go to far one day we will meet again! Till then comrade. Michael mclellan

My comrade, my friend, my trade union brother. It would take a book to say how much I love and admire you. You never gave up fighting for a better life for everyone and still managed to bring joy and love to so many. I'm not going to say rest easy because wherever you are you certainly won't be doing that, you'll be fighting for justice and looking for a good time while you do it.
